 Sunday, May 01, 2005 smilin' through the rain April is gone, thank goodness. What a long month. I can't even begin to explain how hectic it's been, but suffice it to say, it was rough. Through most of April, I had no appetite, and now, I'm noticing just how much weight I've lost. Noticing it makes me even more depressed about it, and that makes me lose my appetite all over again. Eventually, I'll just paint myself black and move to Ethiopia. It will be sunny and warm outside again soon, though. Summertime will be beautiful, and I'll get to frolic in the sun and bask at the pool. Everything will be okay. But for now, it feels like the world is going to end. I can't get that sinking feeling out of the pit of my stomach, and there's been a lump sitting in the back of my throat for weeks, just waiting to make me start crying irrationally like a crazy person. But if I keep my Happy Face on, it will all be okay, right? HINT: For those of you wanting to move up on my Hot Bloggers List, just help me keep on my Happy Face.
