ups and downs

UPS:
… I have great friends and a great husband.
… My grandmother is no longer confused and in pain.
… I started on a new cross-stitch project today, so I feel constructive.
… I ate some salad today without making the little internal gaggy face.

DOWNS:
… O'Malley's chin is still infected.
… My Ma-maw passed away last night.
… I made a mistake already on the new cross-stitch project and have some unravelling to do.
… Coca-Cola tastes like metal.
